Robert Barquero is responsible for reconciling accounts balances and bank statements, and preparing month-end close procedures. As an accounting professional with more than a decade of experience working with individuals, small and large organizations he has successfully combined excellent analytical skills with a thorough knowledge of accounting principles to analyze financial reports.
Prior to joining IFS, Robert was serving a leadership role in the accounting department of a small SBA bank lender. In this role he participated in the ongoing development/establishment of policies and procedures and strategies including the review and implementation of process and system changes. Previously, he spent time managing the accounts payable department for a food distribution company maintaining accurate records, researching information, and supervising a team of AP clerks nationally.
Robert received a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from San Diego State University and a Master of Accountancy degree in forensic accounting from New England College.
